Michele has a Doctorate in counseling and is a certified coach. She is a private recovery and addiction counselor and coach.

Alcohol is something we know isn’t exactly GOOD for us, but many of us, 70% or so, drink alcohol to some degree. We talk about the difference between keeping our brain and body healthy so we can continue to live a healthy life and be around to drink in a healthy way in our old age. She talks about exactly what this looks like… how much and how many and how this differs from the CDC Drinking Guidelines.

We talk about drinking how the focus of negativity around drinking doesn’t serve us. Different phases in our life, college, getting a job, old age, etc. and how drinking might change for a person over time. How to view alcohol as another food group to support us in making thoughtful decisions that support our well-being. How long it takes our brain to get back to normal functioning after a few drinks. We also get into the subjects of womanhood, sex and alcohol.
