I LOVE Brené Brown!
I take a few concepts from her book… fitting in, belonging as well as the word Courage… and share thoughts inspired while reading that arose for me about culture and our courage to find our place of true belonging instead of trying to fit in.
She is on my list of people I want to be my neighbor… along with Elizabeth Gilbert, Tori Amos, Natalie Merchant, Caitlin Doughty, and Boy George! I will have SUCH a great neighborhood!
Not familiar with Brené? She is a researcher… NO, NO, NO… It is MUCH cooler than it sounds! She studies courage, vulnerability, shame and empathy. That may not sound like a great sell, but trust me. Check her out before or after you have a listen. 🙂
